Russian forces attack in 11 frontline sectors: 97 combat engagements recorded

Since the start of November 13, there have been 97 combat engagements at the front. The Russian army is most active in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors

Ukraine’s General Staff reported.

The Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions are still being shelled by Russian artillery. Pavlivka, Oleksandrivka, Zhuravka, Dibrova, Novenke, Yunakivka, Basivka, and Riasne settlements were hit by Russian fire. 

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, one Russian attack was repelled near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, the Russian army launched five assaults near Lozova and Pershotravneve. Two firefights are still ongoing. Pishchane, Kindrashivka, Zahryzove, and Bohuslavka were also targeted by Russian guided aerial bombs.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched five attacks toward Cherneshchyna, Terny, and Zarichne. Three of these ended, while two are ongoing. In this area, the Russian military used aircraft to launch guided aerial bomb attacks on Yampolivka and Terny. Serhiivka and Novoiehorivka were hit by unguided aerial missiles.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one firefight took place near Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops attempted three times to advance near Toretsk but were repelled by Ukrainian forces. The invaders dropped eight bombs near Dachne.

In the Pokrovsk region, Russia has made 24 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions today. Fighting is ongoing near Sukha Balka, Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Hryhorivka, Dachne, Petrivka, Novooleksiivka, and Pustynka. Pushkine was also hit by guided aerial bombs.

In the Kurakhove sector, 32 Russian attacks were reported in areas like Berestky, Illinka, Novoselydivka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Dalne, Antonivka, and Katerynivka. Russia focused most of their efforts on attacking Antonivka and Novoselydivka, carrying out 16 attacks, 10 of which are still ongoing. Additionally, Russian troops dropped two guided aerial bombs near Kurakhove.

In the Vremivka sector, eight firefights took place around Rivnopole, Novopil, Trudove, Kostiantynopolske, and Makarivka. Ukrainian forces are still repelling six ongoing attacks. Velyka Novosilka, Zelene Pole, and Novopil were hit by airstrikes.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Russian army launched an attack on Bilohiria with unguided aerial missiles.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russia attacked three times in the directions of Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka. They also dropped four guided aerial bombs near Zaporizhzhia and Natalivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled four Russian attacks. The Russian army also launched an airstrike with unguided aerial rockets on Kozatske.

  • Over the past day, the invading Russian army lost 24 tanks, 56 artillery systems, and at least 1,770 soldiers at the front.
