Ukrainian forces destroy 10,000 Russian troops in month of fighting near Avdiivka – Zaluzhnyi
The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyi summed up a month of fierce fighting around Avdiivka, Donetsk region
Valeriy Zaluzhnyi wrote about this on Telegram.
"It's been a month since the enemy started actively storming Avdiivka. A month of fierce battles, endurance, and victory of our defenders who continue to heroically hold the defense," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote.
According to Zaluzhnyi, Ukrainian soldiers targeted more than 100 enemy tanks, 250 other armored vehicles, about 50 artillery systems and 7 Su-25 aircraft over the month. Total Russian losses in manpower amounted to about 10,000 people.
"I thank the brigades, our units. Infantry, artillery, tank crews, scouts, UAV operators, medics. I thank everyone who is defending Avdiivka. I bow my head to those on the shield. Eternal memory and honor," Valeriy Zaluzhnyi said in a statement.

On November 10, Yevhen Ievliev, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, noted that the Russian enemy continues to move its equipment to Avdiivka, covering the deployment with mortar and artillery fire.
