The occupying Russian army lost 1,530 servicemen over a day of the war. Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed several pieces of Russian equipment, including 5 tanks

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to December 19, 2024, are approximately:

The Security Service of Ukraine intercepted communications of Russian soldiers revealing significant losses of North Korean troops in the Kursk region.
