Ukrainian fighters carry out 167 fire missions against Russian bases

Operational Command South posted a report on Facebook.

"The enemy continues defensive actions, leaves roadblocks in the occupied territory, redistributes forces and means, moves convoys of equipment, sets up concrete pillboxes, strengthens existing defences and equips new ones. Counter-battery fire continues, territories along the front line are shelled with MLRS, heavy artillery, mortars, tanks. In order to clarify the position of our troops and adjust the artillery fire, the enemy is quite actively using unmanned reconnaissance aerial vehicles," the message says.

Ukraine Air Force launched 4 strikes at Russian air defence systems and an enemy equipment cluster that was in the covered hangar.

Missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine performed 167 firing missions at base points, logistics facilities and transport arteries in the temporarily occupied territory.

Ukrainian defenders destroyed 32 Russian occupiers, a tank and 9 units of other armoured vehicles. In the Bashtanka district, near Snihurivka, Ukrainian fighters destroyed 2 Russian ammunition warehouses.

The report also states that the operation of “grain corridors” in the Black Sea continues according to the plan of the Istanbul Joint Coordination Center.

The ship group of the Russian fleet consists of 7 warships. As of yet, no combat-capable missile carriers are present.
