Ukrainian army is shaping field of future battles - military expert Seleznov

He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"Now the Ukrainian army is shaping the field of the future battle. The Ukrainian defense forces have the advantage of high-precision long-range artillery. We have Storm Shadow missiles that can hit enemy targets at a distance of up to 250 kilometers. We are able to destroy the enemy's military potential by turning its ammunition depots, concentrations of weapons and military equipment, command posts, control and communication centers, and key logistics routes into ashes. This is what gives the Ukrainian Armed Forces an advantage on the battlefield. But this is a future advantage, because now the enemy is powerful," noted Selezniov.

The military expert also added that heavy fighting continues along the entire front line.

"The enemy has densely mined the occupied territories. The fighting continues, it is extremely heavy. Heavy combat operations will be transformed into real territorial gains of the Ukrainian Armed Forces only later," said Selezniov.

• Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar noted that Russia has thrown all its forces to stop the offensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, but the Ukrainian military are fulfilling their tasks.

• The Ukrainian Defense Forces are making progress in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions during the offensive. At the same time, particularly heavy fighting is taking place in the Lyman direction.
