Ukrainian Armed Forces will recapture Kherson by winter at bloody cost to Kremlin - military expert Kyrychevskyi

He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"I judge the success in the South not by the depth of the advance of our troops, but by the pace of destruction of the Russian occupation group. The Russian occupation troops demonstrate that they are not going to run away from the Kherson region. They are going to stand there to the death, but it is not clear why," Kyrychevsky emphasized.

According to him, the occupiers under the fire control of the Armed Forces continue to repair the crossings, but unsuccessfully.

"During the counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed about 100 tanks, and in Kherson Oblast, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 122 tanks. The rate of destruction of the occupiers in Kherson Oblast increased by 50%, and this is a positive dynamic. I stick to my estimates that by the time of winter cold, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will retake Kherson, and here there is already a question: how bloody will the price be for the Kremlin?" Kyrychevsky added.
