Ukrainian Armed Forces need a pause, cannot constantly advance, so defense can be organized near the Oskil River in Kharkiv district - Zgurets
Ukrainian Armed Forces need a break after the offensive in the Kharkiv region - recovery and logistical support are needed.
Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets said this on Espreso.
"There are two opinions. The first is to advance on the Russian enemy towards the Luhansk region, to use the breakthrough of the defense line further for actions in order to occupy the defense as close as possible to the Luhansk region. On the other hand, during the week of hostilities, our troops will need both recovery and logistical support , and other measures," he noted.
According to Zgurets, this requires a pause.
"We cannot constantly advance - for this we need further support. We have partially reached the border of the Oskil River, where there may be a line of defense. In order to move further, we need to accumulate further forces. We also need to provide filtering measures related to the control of those cities , where the enemy was located," the expert added.
He noted that the line of defense should be made along the border line.
"This will be a priority task. In the future, we need to accumulate forces and continue counteroffensive operations in the Luhansk region. On the other hand, we must not forget about the South. There, the area remains important in view of the economic factors associated with the prospects of liberating Kherson Oblast and regaining the exit to the seas," concluded Zgurets.
