Ukrainian Armed Forces hit over 200 Russian army targets, inflict significant military personnel losses - Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff
During the occupying Russian forces' retreat from Kharkiv region, units with the Russian Army Baltic Fleet's 11th Army Corps lost over 50% of their personnel and more than 200 units of military equipment.
Oleksandr Shtupun, the spokesman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff, reports.
"In addition, the 64th Russian Separate Motorized Rifle Division of the Eastern Military District lost more than 90% of its personnel in the dead, wounded, deserters and those released as a result of refusing to participate in hostilities. The equipment of the division is transferred to FSB units of the border service of the Russia, and the military unit is being prepared for disbandment, - Oleksandr Shtupun said.
Russian occupiers also suffered significant losses when they attempted to storm the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Avdiyivka direction.
"According to the available information, more than 30 people from the 1st Army Corps of the Russian troops enter the medical facilities every day. The occupiers try to restore the combat capability of the units that have suffered losses," the message says.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the districts of Mykhailivka Druga, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, and Pravdyne settlements in the last 24 hours.
"Ukrainian aviation struck 13 areas of concentration of Russian manpower and equipment and 3 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, Ukrainian air defense units shot down five Russian UAVs and one Ka-52 helicopter in the last 24 hours.
Military troops and artillery inflicted fire damage on more than two hundred Russian objects. Among them are 12 control points, warehouses of ammunition and fuel, artillery positions and areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment. The losses of the enemy are currently being clarified" - the General Staff says.
