Ukraine's Security Service says that Russians are far from reality in investigation of Crimean bridge attack
Acting head of Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), Vasyl Maliuk, says that the Russians are showing their unprofessionalism in the investigation of the explosion on the Crimean bridge
He said this in an exclusive interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
In response to a question about whether the SBU had anything to do with the explosion on the Crimean bridge and the "self-destruction" of the invading Russian forces in the temporarily occupied territories, Maliuk said that he just likes "bavovna" (the word "bavovna" is used to refer to explosions that destroy the occupying Russian forces and their munitions depots -Ed).
“It's just that we, Ukrainians, love "bavovna" very much... Even in my office, it stands in a vase ("bavovna" means cotton in English - Ed). But is it our fault that the Russians do not know how to treat it properly?” he said.
Maliuk called the investigation of the explosion on the Crimean bridge a pseudo-investigation. He also noted that during this "pseudo-investigation" the Russians demonstrated their unprofessionalism.
“In their "investigation", they came to the conclusion that my colleague from the power block, Kyrylo Budanov, and the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense in general were allegedly involved in the undermining of the bridge. I assure you that this is not the case. And we understand that the Russians are generally far from reality,” the acting head of the SBU said.
Maliuk also noted that something is constantly exploding in the temporarily occupied territories, probably because "someone drinks low-quality coffee, and someone refuels with low-quality fuel." According to him, some processes are taking place there.
“And on the Crimean bridge, probably, some truck refueled with the wrong fuel and they have what they have,” Maliuk said.
He added that at the moment he cannot reveal all the details and tell who is behind the explosions, as this could endanger the caring patriots. Maliuk noted that they will talk about it after the victory.
