Ukraine’s artillery will destroy invading Russian troops again – Defense Express expert Riabykh on production of 122-mm shells
The launch of 122-mm artillery shells production for Ukraine's military means that idle artillery systems will return to service and continue to destroy the enemy
Valerii Riabykh, director of the Defense Express media and consulting company, said this on Espreso TV.
“Artillery shells are what our troops need. It is a very good sign that Ukroboronprom reports not only on the creation of a new munition, but also on its shipment. This means that it has gone through all the necessary 'circles of hell' for adoption – from development to all tests. All organizational issues have been resolved,” he said.
Riabykh expressed hope that this ammunition would be produced not only abroad, but also in Ukraine, which would facilitate logistics and increase the numbers.
“This is really important. The fact that this is a 122-mm ammunition means that the artillery systems that are idle will return to service and continue to successfully destroy the enemy. Along with the systems we received from partner countries,” the expert summarized.
