British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will announce a new military aid package for Ukraine during Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) summit, which will be held in Latvia on December 19.

London believes that the new military aid package will provide a steady flow of much-needed artillery munitions in this war through 2023.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak calls not only to maintain but also to increase military aid to Ukraine next year.
"The UK and our European allies have been in lockstep in our response to the invasion of Ukraine, and we remain steadfast in our ambition for peace in Europe once again. But to achieve peace, we must deter aggression and our deployments across the region together are vital in ensuring we are able to respond to the gravest of threats," the British prime minister said in a statement.
Leaders of Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Great Britain will gather at the JEF meeting, and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, will also speak there.
Britain is said to have led the way in providing defense aid to Ukraine, including sending multiple missile launchers and, more recently, 125 anti-aircraft guns, as well as more than 100,000 rounds of ammunition since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.
