Ukraine requests 30 types of weapons including air defense from Bulgaria
Ukraine has sent Bulgaria a request for the supply of 30 types of weapons. The list turns out to be "extensive and diverse", but includes only the equipment that Bulgaria owns
Vitalyi Moskalenko, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria, told about the list in an interview with the Bulgarian publication FrogNews.
The diplomat said that Ukraine asked Bulgaria for various types of weapons, the list provided to the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense consists of more than 30 items, including the most necessary air defense equipment.
Moskalenko also added that Ukraine has requested S-300 systems for air defense and various other anti-aircraft missile systems. The supply of 152-millimeter howitzers, self-propelled guns, artillery shells and mortars also "remains relevant."

In addition, according to the diplomat, the list turned out to be "quite extensive and diverse." There is a chance that Bulgaria will satisfy many of the requests, since the state possesses all types of weapons from the list.
"Previously, we had sent a request for Su-25 and MiG-29 helicopters and aircraft. All the weapons that have been in Bulgaria since the USSR times are absolutely necessary for us, necessary for Ukraine now," Moskalenko concluded.
