Ukraine replenishes its exchange fund in Kharkiv region, strengthens its negotiating position on prisoner exchanges - Rozenko

Pavlo Rozenko, vice president of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, told it “Espreso.TV” live on air.

"It is very important for us to achieve the earliest possible release of our prisoners of war - boys and girls. We must clearly understand that life, health and security guarantees depend only on how quickly they return home to Ukraine. Only exchange and liberation will give them both freedom and appropriate living conditions, and will protect their lives," he said.

According to Rozenko, all our joint actions and the actions of international organizations that may be involved in the process should be aimed at the release of prisoners of war.

"We are doing quite well, I understand that the exchange fund has been replenished due to the liberation of the Kharkiv region. Ukraine's negotiating position has strengthened and we must release our boys and girls from captivity," he concluded.
