Ukraine nationalises assets of Russian oligarch Molchanov

This was reported by the press services of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) and the Prosecutor General's Office.
According to the investigation, Aerok LLC is part of the LSR Group, a group of companies owned by a Russian billionaire. This company is one of the largest producers of aerated concrete and concrete products. It supplies structures for the construction of residential and industrial facilities.
It is noted that Aeroc owns two plants in Obukhiv and Berezan, Kyiv region. The profits earned by the Ukrainian company were sent in the form of dividends and royalties to the so-called parent company from the Russian Federation.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the LSR Group contributed to the aggressive war by paying significant taxes and fees to the Russian state budget. It also takes an active part in mortgage programmes to provide housing for participants in the so-called "military operations" and invests in the construction of housing for the military of the aggressor state.
According to the SBI, Andriy Molchanov is a former member of the "Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation". He is close to the occupation authorities.
The court decision nationalised the company's authorised capital of UAH 437.5 million, 24 properties in Kyiv and Lviv regions, cash on the accounts, and seized finished products.
The nationalisation of the Russian oligarch's assets was based on criminal proceedings on the financing of actions taken with the aim of forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power, changing the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine and justifying, recognising as lawful, as well as denying Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and glorifying its participants.

In June, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine transferred property of the sanctioned Russian corporation Rostec, namely an AN-140-100 cargo and passenger aircraft worth almost UAH 150 million, to the revenue of Ukraine.
