Ukraine is consulting with IMF on new model of tax system
Ukraine, together with the International Monetary Fund and other international partners, are conducting consultations on the modification of the tax system
This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Rostyslav Shurma during the Kyiv International Economic Forum, reports Ukrinform.
"Today, negotiations are quite active with the IMF and other international financial partners on how we can modify our tax system for two purposes. The first is to be competitive with our neighbors. The second is to build such a model, which will lead to a culture of paying taxes," Shurma said.
He also noted that for the period of post-war reconstruction, we should have fairly good investment conditions in terms of taxation.
Shurma emphasized that only after authorities have completed these discussions with international partners, only then will it be possible to return to the public sphere of discussion of the new tax system.
