Ukraine enters the zone of fire balance in war - military expert Chernyk

This was stated by the military expert Petro Chernyk on Espreso TV Сhannel.

"In my opinion, we are entering the second phase of strategic fire balance. We were in the first phase from mid-May to early September. That is, neither we had the capabilities of large-scale counteroffensive actions, nor the enemy could move forward until the super-successful Kharkiv operation developed, and in November-the equally successful Kherson operation," he said.

According to Petro Chernyk, the second fire balance zone will last until spring. He noted that whoever better deceives the enemy will have an advantage on the battlefield, giving the example of the Kharkiv operation, which was successful, although no one saw it.

According to the military expert, the dynamics of war can have two aspects. On relatively solid ground, the same logic of actions will remain as it is now. If the ground is viscous and heavy machinery cannot move, then we will move on to protracted, long-term duels.

"And in terms of quality, we are 10 times better. However, in terms of numbers, the enemy is at least twice as strong as US. So, the balance: our qualitative volleys that reach the goal, their quantitative volleys that do not allow us to move forward," said Chernyk.
