Cooperation with NATO: Ukraine joins multinational network of battle laboratories
Ukraine has joined as a guest partner to a multinational initiative — the Combined Federated Battle Laboratories Network (CFBLNet)
This was reported by the press center of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that the network is used by system developers for testing, joint exercises and verification of developments. Ukraine's participation in the initiative was sponsored by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), with which the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense signed a technical agreement.
The press center emphasized that participation in the network of battle laboratories will expand Ukraine's ability to test combat systems for interoperability and readiness for use in multinational operations. This will allow, in particular, to conduct such tests in networks with a "secret" stamp after appropriate accreditation.
NATO-Ukraine cooperation will also allow for the exchange of expertise, strengthening of cooperation, training, and opportunities for interoperability.
In addition to Ukraine, 39 partners (32 NATO countries, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, the NATO organization, etc.) are participating in the initiative.
"Our cooperation with NATO and other partner countries is expanding the borders. We strive for interoperability with our partners, and our systems have long proven themselves during joint exercises. We are grateful for inviting Ukraine to join another initiative. We are ready to continue our work and deepen our cooperation," said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernohorenko.
For reference: CFBLNet currently has more than 400 locations in 26 countries and NATO. It operates as part of a partnership between the Committee on Communications Electronics, NATO, and the United States. The core of CFBLNet for European and NATO countries and organizations is managed by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA).
