UK needs to show it is investing in country that can win - Vadym Prystaiko

Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko said this on Espresso.

"Economic problems are still close to every citizen and in the UK as well. There is also a rise in the cost of living, despite the fact that Britain is not as dependent on Russian gas as our other partners. That's why clear signals from the government, the crown and everyone in Britain are very important for consolidation. It seems to me that there is a consensus in British society that it is evil and it needs to be fought. They say it straightforwardly here: "Putin must be defeated," Prystaiko stated.

Ambassador claims this level allows keeping relations between the two countries on a level playing field.

"Of course, we need achievements. We need to show that they are investing in the right country that can achieve victory. To do this, you need to be patient and ready for it," he summarized.
