To buy everything for a song. What is China's plan for Ukraine after the war?

The more Ukrainian soldiers undergo training at NATO bases, the more disinformation Russian propaganda spreads. Now it has multiplied several times, as Putin meets with Xi Jinping. And then the Chinese leader thinks about making a video call to Volodymyr Zelenskyy

To be honest, these conversations between Xi and Ukraine’s president will not make much sense. Because these Skype conversations will take place amid accusations from the United States that Beijing has long and seriously been providing military intelligence to the occupying Russian forces in Ukraine. And China's recent so-called 'peace plan' did not contain the main thing – a request to Putin to withdraw his troops from the entire territory of Ukraine and never return here again.

But at his last press conference, Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed his main motive for why China is more precious to him than the entire Western military and sanctions coalition. He said that we have a large trade turnover, and that is why friendship with China is so important to us. This is sad, because of all the countries in the world, Ukraine has always relied on the wrong ones. And secondly, our trade turnover is nothing to the giant China, which is more interested in dodging Western sanctions on the horizon and cheap resources from Russia.

Ten years ago, we were already deeply involved in relations with China when Xi Jinping had just come to power. And he found a common language with Viktor Yanukovych, a Soviet economic manager who was like a brother to the Chinese leader in his desire for authoritarianism.

It was during Yanukovych's time that odious agreements were signed with China, where Beijing was offered cheap corrupt money to get its paws on our lands, ports, and other attractions of the post-Soviet space.

Even as the first blood was being shed on the pavement of Maidan, Yanukovych and Xi Jinping were signing an interesting agreement on a kind of 'nuclear umbrella' for China. The Chinese side undertakes not to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine as a non-nuclear weapon state under any circumstances, and also undertakes to provide Ukraine with nuclear security guarantees in case Ukraine becomes a victim of aggression with the use of nuclear weapons or is threatened with such aggression.

Instead, China has been looking at Ukraine's strategic resources, including its many Soviet-era military developments. Why is this so? The fact is that the Chinese often reproduce Russian technologies, but have difficulty copying complex systems, such as high-traction turbofan jet engines. That's why Chinese hands were seriously and long after the Maidan, reaching out to Motor Sich.

After the head of the Servants of the People faction, David Arakhamia, declared himself to be perhaps the top advocate of Chinese interests in Ukraine in 2021 and even hinted that his parent party should follow the example of the Communist Party of China, Xi Jinping decided to buy up everything wholesale and retail in Ukraine again. And so, on July 30, 2021, a government agreement was signed on cheap money for the Big Construction program.

The bridges and roads did not work out, because some of them have already been destroyed by the war. But China is nurturing hopes that after the victory, it will buy up everything in the ruined Ukraine for a song. This will show the West that democracy is a worthless thing and not worth fighting for.

Moreover, corrupting the government with Chinese money after our victory, especially if it naturally hates the West, Biden, and any hint of reform, is a holy cause.

The anti-Westerners and Russian agents are already raising their heads. What is the significance of the comeback of the official agent of the Russian Federation under American sanctions, Oleksandr Dubinsky, on the air of the ‘Breakfast with 1+1’ program? He is no longer Kolomoisky's lapdog, who fought with Kobolyev, Hontareva, and Shabunin. It turns out that he is... a volunteer. He is already actively informing his readers on his Telegram channel that Biden is betraying us. That the sanctions against him, Dubinsky, are wrong. And the United States and Russia seem to have already agreed on the fate of Ukraine.

It is not surprising that the emergence of one of the most odious characters of our time coincided with a very interesting injection of China into the West.

That there are sources close to the Chinese government. And in December last year, a certain unknown think tank completed a simulation of the conflict in Ukraine, which showed that the war would end around the summer of 2023, and Russia would have the upper hand.

And so Beijing has developed a 'peace plan' to achieve three goals, including restoring relations with the EU. In addition, China allegedly wants to maintain friendly relations with Ukraine. But the main goal of China is to play a leading role in achieving a ceasefire. And then – see the 12-point plan.

This is a very triggering story, but in fact it is contrary to common sense and untrue. First of all, because there are no think tanks in China that could model such a situation. There is also an obvious falsification of the result in favor of Russia.

Further, all this 'analytics' appeared in December. And let me remind you that the Ramstein tank and new aid packages, as well as the massive deployment of our soldiers for training, took place in January and February. So this is a pure lie.

But it is worth understanding why China is stepping up its efforts right now. And Russian agents are making predictions on the air under the guise of 'volunteers' with alternative opinions.

China has included a very interesting clause in the so-called 'peace plan'. It is about “preventing the Cold War mentality,” which calls for an end to the expansion of military blocs.

Translated into human terms, this means that Ukraine has no right to join NATO, and this is absolutely in line with Russia's vision of the situation. This places restrictions on Ukraine's foreign policy and sovereignty. In fact, it is very beneficial for Russia to have us floundering like shit in an ice hole after a bloody and exhausting war. After all, Ukraine's many years of neutral, non-aligned status led to Russian aggression.

Next up is a story about the need for negotiations with Russia. At a time when Western countries are repairing our tanks and Patriot teams are studying science in the United States, it is only Moscow that benefits. If Ukraine ceases fire, it will simply lose, leave the occupied territories, give Russia the opportunity to strengthen its military capabilities there and continue the invasion in a year or two.

China's 'peace plan' contains a clause that allows Russia to continue its aggression. This is Beijing's proposal to end unilateral sanctions against Russia. What does Moscow do when it has free funds? That's right, it strengthens its military industry and prepares a new war. This time it is a revenge war.

So how should we respond to China's injections, which are absolutely beneficial only to Russia?

Let me quote Secretary of State Antony Blinken: “If China was truly serious about the very first principle it put forward, sovereignty, it would have spent the last year working to support the restoration of Ukraine's full sovereignty. Instead, it did the opposite: it promoted Russian propaganda and disinformation about the war, blocked and solved Russia's problems in international organizations. And, as we have recently realized, it is now considering providing weapons to Russia for its aggression against Ukraine.”

So, no matter how much they want cheap Chinese money and murky schemes with Beijing after the war, the authorities have to choose. Because as soon as martial law ends, a lot of uncomfortable questions will come up. Questions like: “Where are NATO and the EU after such a price for victory?” will be the loudest.
