Three main areas for Russia’s possible offensive unveiled by SBU Colonel Kostenko
Colonel Roman Kostenko, Ukrainian MP, Secretary of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, notes that Russia is keeping its largest forces in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The weather has a major impact on military operations. The situation will favor offensive actions on our part and on the part of the enemy. There are three main strategic areas where the enemy can launch offensives and active operations. This is the east, because they have a task, they will continue to try to advance. This is the Zaporizhzhia direction, and, as a secondary direction, any northern direction, we talked more about the Sumy region. These are the three main areas that we are currently monitoring," emphasized Kostenko.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) colonel, Russia keeps its largest forces in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions.
"There is also a lot of talk about Belarus, it can also be a direction of offensive actions on the part of the enemy, but we do not see enemy groups there now. As for the Sumy region, the enemy is on the defensive there and our troops are as well. The Russian occupiers keep the largest forces in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions. In the Kherson region, Russians left two brigades and small tank reserves, thus holding the line. It is difficult to say in which direction the enemy will start attacking," emphasized Kostenko.

To act in the northern direction, the occupying Russian forces have concentrated about 17,000 troops in the southern part of Belarus and in Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions.
