There will be no announcement beginning the counteroffensive — Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister
The Ministry of Defense released a video about the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive
“There will be no announcement of the start of a counteroffensive, military plans like silence. Let's discuss something else,” wrote the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar on her Telegram channel and posted a corresponding video.
In the video, soldiers from different troops silently put their index finger to their mouths.
No one says anything.
Then the following two sentences appear on the screen:
“There will be no announcement of the start of a counteroffensive. Military plans like silence.”
People on the network speculate that this is probably the beginning of a Ukrainian counteroffensive on the territories temporarily occupied by Russia.
Previously, Malyar reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not announce the start of a counteroffensive, as this is classified information.
"It is crucial to recognize that the Armed Forces will never publicly announce a specific date for launching a counteroffensive. Such classified information cannot be disclosed during wartime. The plans and strategies of the Armed Forces are strictly confidential and should not be discussed in public, even among military personnel. It is also important to avoid simplifying the concept of a counteroffensive as merely a series of active offensive actions,” as stated by Malyar during the telethon.
