"The UN is crawling with Russian agents" - Mykola Holomsha
Mykola Holomsha, former 1st Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, says that everything must be done to influence the UN, because the organization being seen as ineffective only benefits Russia
His comments were reported on Espreso TV.
"We do not see the UN responding appropriately, because the human rights commission in Switzerland is headed by a GRU colonel who also investigated the MH-17 crime (on July 17, 2014, Malaysia Airlines passenger flight MH17 was hit by a Russian BUK surface to air missile, killing all 298 people on board - Ed.) and dismissed the representative of Ukraine in the UN mission because he did not sign the conclusion according to which the Ukrainian side allegedly shot down the plane (this is the same claim that Russia's propaganda machine makes - Ed). There is a real need now to sound the alarm, because the UN is full of these Russian segments, and the Russians collaborated with this international organization," Holomsha said.
Mykola Holomsha added that during the IAEA mission, 15 out of the 17 members were pro-Russian, and there was only one Pole and one Lithuanian.
"Therefore, we must not lag behind, rather we should do everything within our power to influence this organization, because Russia is glad that we just throw up our hands and say that the organization is ineffective. After all, we have to act on every case, shelling, and crimes. The Security Council should be convened so that there can be an appropriate and effective response, and we must move fast to be sure we are not then sidelined with the answer that we should have asked our questions sooner or responded in time," Holomsha stressed.
