Svyatoslav Vakarchuk raises more than 3.3 million GBP for Ukrainian hospitals
Okean Elzy frontman Svyatoslav Vakarchuk has raised more than 3.3 million GBP during a charity concert in London
The singer announced this on his Facebook page, Espreso reports.
The concert took place in the Canada House on Trafalgar Square in London.
All funds collected will be used for the purchase of medical equipment and reconstruction of Ukrainian hospitals affected by the war.
Svyatoslav Vakarchuk's performance was called 'A Night for Ukraine'. Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain, the High Commissioner of Canada and many others have visited the concert.
"During 'A Night for Ukraine', I spoke about what I’ve seen, felt and heard over the last year at the front, in shelters and hospitals," he said.

Earlier it was reported that Vakarchuk visited de-occupied Kherson and performed one of his songs on the Antonivka Road Bridge destroyed by the Russians.
