Spain transfers new package of military aid to Ukraine

Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, shared the news at a briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares Bueno and Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, discussed assistance to Ukraine at the meeting.

In particular, Spain has already transferred Hawk air defense systems, Aspide air defense systems, anti-tank missile complexes and guns to Ukraine.

"We have been working for a long time with Jose Manuel and our colleagues from other departments to ensure Ukraine receives a new package of military aid from Spain as soon as possible. I am very glad there is a new package and it is already on its way to Ukraine, and in the near future our state will strengthen its defense capabilities, having received battery of Aspide anti-aircraft missile system and missiles for it, four Hawk air defense systems, anti-tank missile systems, guns and shells for it, as well as other military equipment. This is exactly what we asked Spain to do to protect our country", Kuleba said.
