Sooner or later, the German authorities will give tanks
Their leadership in the European continent is at stake
The Germans still haven't decided on tanks.
Boris Pistorius, Germany's new Defense Minister, rejected accusations that Germany alone is delaying the decision to hand over the tanks. At the same time, he added that the decision would be made soon and would depend on German Chancellor Scholz. He also added that there are strong pros and strong cons.
To summarize, the German authorities are still thinking about it. They say they believe in Ukraine's victory and know that it is the only way to end the war. They have already started supplying certain types of weapons. Great weapons. But they still can't say the final "Yes" to tanks.
"The German authorities now have two options. The first one is to expect that the war will somehow end by itself and then they can continue to trade with Russia and make money. This is the path of shame and contempt. The second way is to actively help Ukraine win and remain the leader of the European continent"
The German authorities may have many reasons for "no," and many reasons for "but," however sooner or later they will have to give in.
The German authorities now have two options. The first one is to expect that the war will somehow end by itself and then they can continue to trade with Russia and make money. This is the path of shame and contempt. The second way is to actively help Ukraine win and remain the leader of the European continent.
Ukraine will win no matter what the German authorities decide. But it will be much easier with their active position. I am confident that the German authorities will make the right choice.
