Small countries help Ukraine with weapons at expense of their own security, because they feel threatened by Russia - Zgurets

Defense Express analyst Serhii Zgurets said this on Espreso.

"Small countries that really feel threatened want to help Ukraine, even at the expense of their own security. Monster-like states are playing big geopolitics and implementing a strategy so that Russia does not defeat Ukraine on the battlefield. I would like another strategy - for Ukraine to defeat the Russian Federation on the battlefield. There seems to be a small difference in these theses, but sometimes it determines the pace of receiving one or another aid for Ukraine," he noted.

In his opinion, our neighbors show impressive amounts of military aid.

"Baltic countries, Poland - those states that are on the front line of confrontation with Russian enemy understand that the outpost in these hostilities is Ukraine, which must be helped. The amount of aid from these countries is really impressive considering their own capabilities." - concluded Zgurets.
