"Slow but significant progress": Pentagon comments on Ukrainian Armed Forces' battlefield successes
US Deputy Defense Secretary Dr Colin Kahl said that the Ukrainian forces are making "slow but meaningful progress" on the battlefield.

Kahl made the comments at a Defense News event, Reuters reports.
According to Kahl, Ukraine's status on the battlefield is much better than Russia's.
"It is early days. I think the Ukrainians are making slow but meaningful progress. And we'll see how things pan out. But I certainly think things are going better on the Ukrainian side right now in the south than is true on the Russian side" Kahl said.
