Since February 24, almost 900 children have been injured by Russian troops
During the full-scale war in Ukraine, 452 children are killed by the Russian forces, another 876 are injured
This was reported by the Ukrainian Office of the Prosecutor General.
As of January 3, 2023, at least 1,328 children were injured in Ukraine by the full-scale war with Russia. Among them, 452 were killed by the Russian forces. Another 876 were injured.
However, these figures are not final. Currently, work is underway to establish them in the areas of hostilities, as well as in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
It is noted that most children suffered in the Donetsk region - 429. Children also suffered in other regions: Kharkiv - 268, Kyiv - 117, Mykolaiv - 81, Zaporizhzhia - 81, Kherson - 81, Chernihiv - 68, Luhansk - 65, Dnipropetrovsk - 40.
It is added that 358 children are currently considered missing. 13,876 children have been deported. 8,688 of them have been found. Another 125 were returned home.
It is also added that 3,126 educational institutions in Ukraine were damaged by bombing and shelling by Russian forces. 337 were completely destroyed.
