Russia targets its own civilians in Kursk to blame Ukraine — Ukraine's MFA
This was reported by the press service of the SSU.
The SSU seized Russian artillery gunners who were helping the invader shell the city. One of them acted on behalf of a militant nicknamed "Ilya", who is now fighting against the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the 2nd Army Corps of the Russian troops.
The spotter walked the streets of Severodonetsk, recorded the placement of equipment and Ukrainian military personnel, and handed it over to the invader. Soon, Russian shells were flying into these areas of the city.
Another local man, as established by the SSU operatives, was preparing to transfer intelligence data to the invader (his actions were also led by the militant "Ilya"). The perpetrator was promptly arrested.
