“Russia’s realities are shame and defeat”: Ukraine responds to Kremlin's demand to recognize annexation of 4 regions
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), says that without a real assessment of the situation in Ukraine by Russia, peace negotiations are impossible
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the NSDC, wrote about this on Twitter.
“There are no realities in which 'new territories within the Russian Federation' exist. It is time for the Kremlin’s talking heads to get out of the state of information delusion. The realities of the Russian Federation are shame, defeat and its collapse,” Danilov tweeted.
The Secretary of Ukraine's National Security Council added that peace negotiations with Russia are currently impossible.
“Without taking these realities into account, no 'peace plan' will take place. Communicating with the Devils leads to an unfortunate fall out of reality,” Danilov added.
On December 28, the spokesman of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the Kremlin believes that the 'peace plan' should take into account Russia's occupation of four Ukrainian regions, namely the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia within their administrative boundaries.
The Russian enemy did not completely occupy any of these areas, but the Kremlin considers them its own within their administrative boundaries.
