Russians save military equipment along the entire frontline - SBU Colonel Kostenko
Colonel of the Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU), MP Roman Kostenko said that Russian troops are trying to save their own military equipment in all temporarily occupied territories
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The Russian army highly save their military equipment now. Everyone who is now defending our country in the East is talking about it. We see the same situation here in the South. The Russians have pulled their equipment away from the front line and are using infantry. I think this is connected with Russia's future plans for offensive actions," said Kostenko.
The colonel emphasized that Russians continue to prepare for a major offensive on the territory of Ukraine.
"It is obvious that the Russian troops are planning something and amassing forces to carry out offensive actions. They understand that they have not been able to organize another large-scale offensive yet, and they need resources to conduct combat operations. Because if they throw equipment in small areas of the front, they will have no resources left for a more powerful offensive," he added.
