Russian troops launch air attack on Kharkiv, injuring civilians

"The city is under fire. Two explosions," he wrote.
Later, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, clarified that Russian troops were attacking the central part of the city.
"Preliminary: there are wounded. Specialized services have arrived at the sites of hits," he added.
According to him, there were also hits to residential infrastructure.
Syniehubov noted that as of 12:18 a.m., four hits were recorded in several districts of Kharkiv.
Two people sought medical help with an acute stress reaction.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov told Suspilne that Russian strikes on the industrial zone in Kharkiv's Industrial District were recorded.
According to him, two people were injured. Preliminarily, Russian forces fired with S-300 missiles.
The State Emergency Service reported that several fires broke out in the center of Kharkiv as a result of the attack, and as of 2:19 p.m. they were extinguished.
"Garages and cars were burning on a total area of about 40 square meters. Residential and other buildings, garages and cars were also damaged," the rescuers wrote.
As of 4:21 p.m., according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the number of victims increased to 5.
"A 45-year-old man has shrapnel wounds. Four women aged 37 to 72 have an acute stress reaction. At least 13 high-rise buildings and private houses, educational institutions, cafes, a hostel, a hotel, cars, garages, etc. were damaged as a result of the strikes," the statement said.
Law enforcement officers have also preliminarily established that Russian troops fired two UMPBs (unified interspecies planning munitions) at the city from an aircraft.
