189 clashes at Russia-Ukraine frontline: Russian army loses 1,690 troops in one day

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m.

According to the updated information, yesterday Russian forces launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, as well as 40 airstrikes, dropping 59 guided bombs. In addition, they launched nearly 2,832 ‘kamikaze’ drones and over 5,000 attacks, including 100 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

Yesterday the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck five Russian manpower and weapons concentrations and two air defense systems.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops, supported by aviation, attempted three times to break through the Ukrainian defensive lines near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, 13 Russian attacks took place yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks near Stroivka, Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kutkivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, and Lozova.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched 17 attacks.

In the Siversk sector, Russian troops attacked near Ivano-Dariivka and Verkhnokamianske, with two attacks being repelled.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces attacked seven times near Chasiv Yar and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops launched 19 attacks near Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders halted 89 attacks near Zelene Pole, Oleksandropil, Vodyane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Shevchenko, Udachne, Uspenivka, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Novotroitske, Novoandriivka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly, and Yantarne.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian forces conducted 16 attacks near Kostiantynopil and Velyka Novosilka. They also actively used aviation in the area.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops stormed the positions of Ukrainian forces once near Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian defenders are working to prevent the Russian army from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory. They successfully repelled two Russian attacks.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive actions.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected.

Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Russia carried out 12 air strikes, dropped 16 guided bombs, and fired 416 times over the last day. Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 Russian attacks.

Russian army losses

In total, over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost 1,690 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 10 tanks, 42 armored combat vehicles, 19 artillery systems, 3 air defense systems, 153 operational-tactical UAVs, 87 vehicles, and 6 units of special equipment.
