Russian troops use drones to bombard civilians in Kherson region – Humeniuk
Russian troops cannot fully launch artillery shelling on the de-occupied part of Kherson region, so they drop ammunition on civilians from drones
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint coordination center of Ukraine’s South Defense Forces, shared the information on Espreso TV.
According to her, Russian troops continue to shell civilians on the right bank of the Kherson region, trying to pressure the local population.
"In particular, realizing that our counter-battery work has knocked out their artillery positions, which means that Russian troops cannot use artillery, mortars, MLRS at their full capacity, they have started using drones to drop ammunition on civilians. We urge the local population to be cautious, to keep an eye on the air and sky and avoid gatherings," emphasized Natalia Humeniuk.
