Russian troops and weapons for more powerful attacks amassed behind enemy lines
Bohdan Tkachuk, deputy of the Kharkiv District Council, has reported on the accumulation of enemy forces in the Kupiansk direction, as well as two small groupings in Russia's Belgorod region
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
“There is information that the Russian army is trying to accumulate its combat forces and advance in the Kupiansk direction, downstream to the Oskil River to the south. This is recorded by our intelligence. At the same time, there are two small enemy groupings from the Belgorod region: one is said to be aimed at Okhtyrka, and the other at Vovchansk. That is, they are waiting for some successful offensive from Kupiansk, and then they can move these military groupings,” the deputy of the Kharkiv District Council commented.
Bohdan Tkachuk emphasized that Ukrainian defenders are holding strong, they have enough forces and means, so the Russian troops cannot expect any success.
Tkachuk also commented on the situation near the villages of the Kupiansk district, Lyman Pershyi, and Dvorichna: “Every day there are attempts by the Russian troops to attack in one direction or another to take a stronghold or a village. However, the enemy does not succeed. But in the rear, the Russians are accumulating forces and means for more powerful attacks. I think it will depend on their success in the Donetsk region, Bakhmut and other places. That is, the reserves they are accumulating here can be deployed, if necessary, to the south, to hotter areas of the front. But we are not relaxing, our soldiers are holding the front. The enemy does not have enough forces and means to break through to Kupiansk. I hope this will not happen.”
