Russian soldiers are driven into battle by inertia, approaches to Bakhmut, Soledar are littered with their corpses - Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman
Yuriy Gerun, a serviceman with the Ukrainian Armed Forces' 80th Brigade, has said that Russian soldiers are being sent in to attack because if they stop, Ukraine will seize the initiative and completely shift the entire course of the war.
He told Espreso about this.
"It can be said with confidence that the offensive potential of the Russian army is melting every day, which is felt along the entire front line both in the direction of Bakhmut and Soledar. They follow inertia, send infantry, withdraw armored vehicles, but this cannot be compared with combat actions, which took place a month ago," commented a serviceman.
Yuriy Gerun noted that the capabilities of the enemy's infantry, which was almost crushed by the Ukrainian forces during these months of the war, create a situation where they cannot stop, because stopping them is us intercepting the initiative, which completely disrupts the entire course of the war.
"Accordingly, the Russian commanders are driving their soldiers forward, and it mostly ends tragically for them. In our direction, the approaches to Bakhmut and Soledar are littered with their corpses, they do not even take them away. We should give credit to their bureaucratic-military machine, which sends the Russians to attack, but it does not happen at a strategic level, because they advance a few meters through individual houses, which is not a full-fledged offensive, as they show their internal audience," Gerun explained.
