Russian occupation forces have no water, some flee in stolen motorboats across the Dnipro in Kherson region - Ukrainian intelligence
In the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, Russian forces cannot provide themselves with drinking water and ammunition. Some units flee across the Dnipro on stolen motorboats
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports in Telegram.
"The units of the Russian Armed Forces, which are still in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region, are cut off from the established supply of food and drinking water. In particular, the command of the Airborne Assault Unit of the Airborne troops of the Russian Armed Forces, which is located near Kakhovka, cannot solve the problem of providing personnel in advanced positions with drinking water and ammunition," the intelligence agency wrote.
Local residents in the Kherson region refuse to give food to Russians, even under coercion. Currently, the occupiers have to replenish water and ammunition supplies at night with stolen civilian vehicles.
In addition, several units of the Russian army in the Kherson region were ordered to withdraw to the left bank of the Dnipro river, using stolen motor boats.
"Near the place of the ferry crossing across the Dnipro river, people saw the appearance of several groups of unarmed rioters of 10-20 Russians. These servicemen refused to participate in hostilities. As a result, the commanders of the units removed them from all types of supplies, took away their weapons and released them. Currently, they are forced to beg from local residents and are looking for an opportunity to return home," the message says.
