Russian forces teach children to use weapons, name streets after 'heroes of special operation' in Crimea
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, invading Russian forces teach children how to use weapons and provide first aid, and name streets after 'heroes of the special operation'
The Ukrainian President's Representative Office in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea reported this.
“The head of the occupation administration, Aksyonov, has started opening branches of the so-called voluntary societies for the army, aviation and navy: children are taught to handle weapons, provide first aid, undergo firearms and engineering training. Such 'military-patriotic exercises' already exist in the Sovietskyi, Nyzhniohirskyi and Chornomorskyi districts, in the cities of Yalta, Feodosia, Yevpatoria, Kerch and Krasnoperekopsk,” the statement says.
The Russian forces are also renaming streets in honor of 'heroes of the special operation'. In particular, 13 new names have been reported: three in Kerch, four in Simferopol, two in the village of Partyzanske, and one each in the Shcholkine, Perevalne, Krasnolissia, and Saky districts.
According to the activists, in schools in Armiansk, teachers are asked to interview students and parents about the likelihood of terrorist attacks on socially important infrastructure.
In addition, in Sevastopol and other cities of the peninsula, branches of the public and state initiative, the Movement of the First, have begun to open: “Children are actively campaigned to join it.”
It is noted that in Dzhankoi, the invading Russian forces organized an all-Russian Blockade Bread action, during which children were given 125 grams of bread.
“The propagandists did not explain what Crimea has to do with the blockade of Leningrad. Apparently, this is a clear demonstration of what the Russian army is doing in the newly occupied territories,” the agency added.
