Russian forces shell Vuhledar: two schools and houses damaged, there are casualties
On January 26, the Russian invading forces continued to shell civilian settlements in Donetsk region. Two people were killed and at least two wounded as a result of the shelling.
This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.
Russia-backed militants are shelling Vuhledar. Seven houses and two schools were damaged in the town.
In total, two people were killed and one was wounded by Russian shells in Bohoyavlenka.
Russian invaders also fired at the village of Novoukrainka.
At night in the Donetsk direction, Russian enemy fired twice from artillery at Avdiivka. There are destructions.
In the Horlivka direction, one civilian was wounded and one house was damaged in Bakhmut.
On January 26, Russian forces damaged three houses and a kindergarten in Toretsk, and controlled the outskirts of the community with fire.
Three more private houses were damaged in Katerynivka in Illinivsk community.
It was also loud in Soledar community villages.
"In the Lysychansk sector: Torske, Zarichne and Yampil in the Lyman community came under fire, in the Zvanivka community - 3 houses in Pereizne were damaged, the outskirts of Zvanivka came under fire from phosphorus shells," said Kyrylenko.
In addition, the situation was uneasy in Siversk - the shelling continued throughout the day, a private house was destroyed by a direct hit.
