Russian forces kill 2 people, injure 54 in Mykolaiv region

This was announced by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council on Humanitarian Affairs, Hanna Zamazeyeva, on Telegram.

"In general, 54 people were injured in the Mykolaiv region over the past day. There are no children among the victims," ​​she emphasized.

The injured were hospitalized and are being given the necessary medical assistance.

"In general, as of the morning of July 8, there are 332 citizens in Mykolaiv hospitals who suffered from the attacks of the occupiers on the Mykolaiv region. Another 110 victims received outpatient care," the head of the regional council noted.

The "South" operational command reported on Facebook that early in the morning of July 8, the Russians fired at the industrial infrastructure of Mykolaiv with "Smerch" rocket systems.

"More than a dozen prohibited cluster and high-explosive projectiles were used again. Previously, there were no casualties, the scale of the destruction is being clarified," it is noted. 

Earlier, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, said on Telegram that on the afternoon of July 7, there were fires in open areas in Mykolaiv due to the impact of ammunition and their fragments. On the morning of July 8, explosions were heard in the city. The information is being clarified.

On the afternoon of July 7, the Russian occupiers shelled Bereznehuvate and led to a fire in an open area. Since 6:45 a.m. on July 8, they have continued shelling Bereznehuvate. "On the evening of July 7, at around 8:00 p.m., there were shellings in the community of Shyrokivske. The shots were fired in open areas and on the territory of the farm. There were no casualties," Vitaliy Kim noted. 

Around 00:00 and 07:00 on July 8, shelling continued mainly outside the borders of settlements, as a result of which fields were burning. People were not injured.

"Yesterday, July 7, as a result of the shelling of the village of Ukrainka in the Halytsynivska community, two people died. The information about the damage is being clarified. Also in the afternoon, on July 7, as a result of the enemy shelling in the Halytsynivska community, a fire broke out in a country house," Vitaliy Kim noted. 

On the afternoon of July 7, dry grass on the open territory of a former farm caught fire in the village of Polygon due to the impact of Russian ammunition and their fragments.

In the Voznesenskiy and Pervomayskiy districts, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
