Russian forces have shelled Kherson region 46 times. There are dead and wounded residents

Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, stated this.

Russian troops have shelled the Kherson region 46 times with various types of weapons: artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks. In particular, the city of Kherson suffered 14 times.

Residential quarters of the city were attacked. Russian shells hit critical infrastructure facilities, and private and apartment buildings.

Yesterday, 2 people were killed by Russian shelling, and 2 more residents of the Kherson region were injured in varying degrees of severity.

• On the night of January 9, the Russian army attacked a critical infrastructure enterprise in Kherson, and an electrical substation was also destroyed. In the afternoon, Russian troops shelled Kherson again. A shell fell on the intersection of a residential quarter. One person was killed.

• According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, the civilian infrastructure of Chornobayivka, Antonivka, Zolota Balka, and Kherson was damaged by Russian artillery in Kherson's direction.
