On January 9, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 18 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russia’s personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as 3 strikes on the positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems.
Also, Ukrainian soldiers shot down 2 Russian reconnaissance UAVs of the Orlan type.
In turn, the units of the missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the control point, 5 areas of manpower concentration, Russia’s military equipment and 2 positions of the Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.
In Horlivka during the raid the Russian forces mobilized 30 people, 4 of them are disabled
"Russian forces continue to take measures to mobilize the local population in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine," the General Staff noted.

Russian forces continue to wage full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. Russian soldiers are focused on capturing the Donetsk region, advancing in three directions
Russian forces are conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Lyman directions, trying to improve the tactical situation in the Kupyansk direction.
They focus their efforts on capturing the Donetsk region within the administrative border but are unsuccessful.
In the northern Ukrainian border with Russia, Russian forces fired at the positions of our troops and civilian objects near one settlement in the Chernihiv region, six in the Sumy region and four in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, Russian forces fired from tanks, mortars, cannon and missile artillery at the areas of 22 settlements. Among them are five in the Kharkiv region and four in the Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Russian forces shelled the areas of more than 25 settlements. In particular, five in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, seven settlements of the Donetsk region were under fire.
In the Vuhledar direction, three settlements in the Donetsk region were shelled.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, areas of 21 settlements came under fire. Among them are two settlements in the Donetsk region and five in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the civilian infrastructure of four settlements was damaged by Russian artillery shelling.
