Russian troops renew assault on Soledar: Russian invaders are literally stepping on corpses of their soldiers - Maliar

This was reported by Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar on Telegram.

"After an unsuccessful attempt to capture Soledar and retreat, the enemy regrouped, recovered losses, transferred additional assault units, changed tactics and launched a powerful assault," she said.

In particular, at present the Russian military has engaged a large number of assault groups formed from the best reserves of the Wagner PMC.

"The enemy literally steps on the corpses of their own soldiers, massively uses artillery, MLRS and mortars, covering even their own fighters with fire," said Maliar. 

According to her, the Armed Forces of Ukraine courageously defend every metre of their native land.

"Fierce battles are going on right now," Maliar emphasized.
