Russian enemy increases activity in Kharkiv region, fires on destruction, spares no ammunition - Karpatska Sich Battalion
Volodymyr Gapun, deputy commander of the Karpatska Sich Battalion, said that attacks by sabotage groups to test Ukrainian efenses have increased now, which means that Russian enemy is preparing for offensive actions in the coming days.
He shared the statement on Espreso.
"For the fourth day, intensive fighting has been going on in our area, Russian enemy has become very active and is trying to knock us down from the heights we occupy. The actions of enemy tanks have also increased, which is very noticeable compared to the last two weeks;together with infantry and armored personnel carriers, BMP, they are trying to break through our positions. But despite the enemy's attempts to attack, we stay in our sector and no part of the front has been penetrated by the enemy," said the deputy commander of the "Karpatska Sich" battalion.
Volodymyr Gapun added that in addition to tanks, the enemy's artillery is also working, the enemy is using phosphorous incendiaries, that is, it does not spare its ammunition, erasing forests, plantations, fields, cities or villages.
"The enemy is conducting unfocused fire, and chaotic fire, which is aimed at complete destruction. According to their plans, it is necessary to destroy all possible shelters where we can be. Also now, the attacks of sabotage groups to test our defenses have become more frequent, which means that in the coming days they are preparing for offensive actions We are ready for this and are taking all necessary measures to defend our sector," Gapun explained.
