Russia won’t be defeated unless its army is destroyed – SBU Colonel Kostenko

Roman Kostenko, a colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and MP, shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"Russia realizes that everything will be decided by the battle. I think that first of all, they are not preparing themselves for life after defeat, but for life during this war and isolation of Russia from the entire civilized world. It is too early to talk about defeat. We will do everything for this, but Russia’s army has not been destroyed yet - there are more than 500,000 people on our territory and many thousands of vehicles," he said.

Kostenko added that Russia's defense industry is still working.

"It is necessary to destroy Russian groups - not just to liberate the territories, but to create conditions for their destruction. So that we can say that Russia has lost. As long as Russia has an army, it will not lose militarily. The main task now is to liberate the territories and destroy their army. Then we can talk about Russia's defeat," summarized the SBU colonel.
