To occupy Taiwan, Xi is ready to supply weapons to Russia — Ukrainian army colonel Selezniov
Vladyslav Selezniov, a military expert, colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (2014-2017), said that if China provides weapons and military equipment to Russia, it will change the situation on the battlefield
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Regarding China's decision, if it is 100% likely, we will receive another confirmation of the classic point of view: evil that is not punished multiplies. The Chinese are seeking to change the world order. The process that is taking place as part of the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation and certain Chinese encroachments on Taiwan are all the result of this fundamental change on the planet. When we talk about the axis of evil, we mention Russia, the DPRK, and Iran, but behind the scenes of this axis of evil is the Chinese government," Selezniov said.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces colonel, China dreams of becoming a key geopolitical player on the planet.
"If the information that China has begun to supply weapons and military equipment for the needs of the Russian occupiers becomes a reality, it will change the situation on the battlefield. Because Russia will have unlimited resources. There must be an immediate reaction, and if this does not happen, the totalitarian regime of our planet will feel quite confident. If Russia got away with the annexation of Crimea, the occupation of a large part of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and the partial occupation of Kharkiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, why can't China occupy Taiwan? These are the considerations that Xi Jinping lives by. And in order for this to become a reality for him, he is ready to supply weapons and military equipment to the Russian Federation," Selezniov explained.
