Russia deploys air defense closer to Kerch bridge fearing Ukraine’s strikes — Crimean guerillas
In temporarily occupied Crimea, a resistance agent discovered two Russian air defense systems being transported towards the Kerch Bridge. The move reflects Russia's attempt to address defense vulnerabilities amid a significant shortage of equipment
This was reported by the Atesh guerrilla movement.
An agent of the movement recorded the transportation of two Buk-M2 and S-400 air defense systems in Crimea for further echeloning near the Crimean bridge on the Taman Peninsula.
The convoy was accompanied by military vehicles, including two URALs with personnel.
"The Russian defense system is struggling with security issues in areas like the Kursk region. As a result, they are urgently withdrawing weapons from various front lines and redeploying military systems to address these defense vulnerabilities," Atesh emphasizes.
The guerrillas also suggest that Russian troops expect attacks on the crossing in the coming months and do not want to leave air defense systems in Crimea following the destruction of the bridge.
