Viktor Dudukalov, deputy chairman of the Berdyansk District Council, says that the Ukrainian army's drones are working well against Russian targets in the occupied Zaporizhzhia region

He said this on Espreso TV.

"The invading Russian forces chose Chernihivka as a non-rearward point, but a popular one for them, because there are huge fields, plantations and reservoirs there. It was very convenient for the Russians to hide their equipment there. The territory of this community was very seriously affected in the context of the civilian population, because there are incredibly many enemy soldiers there. Russian equipment and ammunition have always been targets for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. There is a railroad nearby in this settlement, so logistics were convenient for the Russians. This branch goes along the sea, to the north. The last strike at the port hit the Russian troops hard, first of all, morally," Dudukalov noted.

According to the deputy head of the Berdyansk district council, there was information that a military training ground in the Berdyansk district, located in the village of Novopetrivka, was recently hit.

"Locals say it was a drone. Because there was an ammunition depot there, there was a long detonation. In the southern Zaporizhzhia region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' drones are operating against enemy's equipment and ammunition. The locals are well aware of where all this is located, they report the coordinates. It's easy to get there, flying 100 kilometers of echeloned, notorious Russian air defense," Dudukalov emphasized.

  • Ukrainian troops repelled 122 Russian attacks in 8 sectors. Meanwhile, 127 combat engagements took place in the frontline yesterday. The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 920 soldiers.
  • The Ukrainian Security Service in the Chernivtsi region collected evidence against the head of the Russian occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region. He had previously participated in the seizure of the Crimean peninsula by force and recruited Ukrainian security forces.
