President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine needs two more Patriot air defense systems to prevent Russian troops from occupying Kharkiv

He made the statement to ABC News during a visit to Kharkiv.
"All we need are two Patriot systems. Russia will not be able to occupy Kharkiv if we have those," Zelenskyy said.
Asked by a journalist whether the delay of $60 billion in US aid was to blame for what is happening in Kharkiv, the president said it was the fault of the whole world.
"They gave the opportunity for Putin to occupy. But now the world can help," he emphasized.
The Ukrainian leader also noted that the situation is "very serious."
"We cannot afford to lose Kharkiv," he emphasized.
- On May 16, Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff in Kharkiv. The main topic was the operational situation in the region.
