Strategic strikes on Russia's capabilities: aviation expert on destruction of missile warning stations
Anatolii Khrapchynskyi, deputy director general of an electronic warfare company and aviation expert, believes that Russia's capabilities and Russian statements about nuclear weapons are somewhat exaggerated
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"If we hit enemy radars, then the work of Russian air defense is not good at all. The destroyed Voronezh-M station, which is located near Orsk in the Orenburg region, is an early warning system. That is, these systems provide early warning of the threat of nuclear weapons, ballistic and intercontinental missiles being used against the Russian Federation. The Russian radar was supposed to see all of this and notify the military that weapons had been used against them. Voronezh-M is located to the south and looks towards China and Iran," Khrapchynskyi explained.
According to the aviation expert, it is with such strikes that Ukraine shows that Russia's capabilities and Russian statements about nuclear weapons are somewhat exaggerated.
"We can see that the Russians cannot even protect such strategically important facilities that provide warnings about the possibility of anyone using nuclear weapons. We should also not forget that the Container radar detection system, which was destroyed earlier, allowed the Russians to see a certain part of Ukraine's territory. Therefore, these are strategic blows to Russia's image and ability to detect anything in the airspace. We are seeing more and more strikes on strategic targets of the Russian Federation, which will allow us to practice more efficiently with Western-style equipment when we are given permission to do so," Khrapchynskyi said.
